Application window disappears and reappears when opening a local ZIM file

Version 2.5.1 has a weird way of opening the first local ZIM file from the list "Local Files" after starting the application (tested on Windows 10 and Debian 12):

The application seems to restart itself; the window disappears and then reappears. When I open another local ZIM file after that, the window stays the same. Version 2.4.1 doesn't have this behavior, so it seems to be a regression.

I’d like to look into this regression.
From the description, it seems that opening the first local ZIM file after startup may be triggering a full window re-initialization instead of just updating the current state. Since this doesn’t happen in v2.4.1 and only affects the first file load, I’ll compare the startup and file-loading logic between 2.4.1 and 2.5.1 to identify what changed.
I’ll try to reproduce it on my end and trace where the window restart is being triggered. Once I narrow down the cause, I’ll propose a fix. Please assign me this issue. I will let you know when the issue is resolved.
